Rural tourism, combined by agriculture and tourist industry, has become one of the developing trends in world's tourism for its leisure and ecology. The development of rural tourism plays an important role in adjusting the agricultural structure, enriching residents'life, enlarging rural employment and increasing farmers' income. Rural tourism, to be still growing, has a very rosy prospect nowadays in China.This thesis analyzes the mechanism of Chongqing recreational belt around metropolis (ReBAM) from the following aspects, stimulus system, attraction system and supporting system by using the theory of Recreational Belt Around Metropolis (ReBAM) and applying evidence analysis and norm analysis, systematic analysis and comparison analysis. This research comes up with the space structure mode of Chongqing recreational belt around metropolis (ReBAM)--which includes surrounding sighting zone, suburb sighting zone and outskirt sighting zone from inside to outside. In addition, it also analyze scenery characters of each zone, residents' recreational behavior and disparity between districts of each area respectively, and put forward appropriate developing directions and measures to rural tourism.Questionnaires and SWOT analysis are used in this thesis. With firsthand data acquired, it focuses on Shuangqiao District, which is on the suburban tour belt of Chongqing recreational belt around metropolis (ReBAM). Rural tourism in Shuangqiao has intrinsic advantages and disadvantages as well as opportunities and challenges from outside world. The advantages consist of resource, environment, location and policy; the disadvantages are reflected in follow aspects: inadequate resources, lack of fund assistance, weak infrastructure, flaws in tourism products, poor management, lack of cooperation and overall arrangements between Districts, low-level of participants, narrow marketing and sales channels; opportunities include:"policy opportunity" from the readjustment of the industrial structure, "marketing opportunity" from casual economic age, "exploitation opportunity" from Chongqing recreational belt around metropolis (ReBAM), "complimentary opportunity" from tour resources of stone sculptures of Dazu; challenges represent as fierce competition in rural tourism marketing, the great difficulties of keeping the balance between exploring and protecting, and so on.This thesis, by deeply researching, pointedly provides developing strategies for Shuangqiao's Rural Tourism, which are developing tourism by bringing forth new idea, drafting and planning at first and following a strict norm; by totally elaborating the function of government, strengthening its management and guide for rural tourism; by taking advantage of Longshui Lake to produce rural tourism products; by trying all means to raise the money for development; by enhancing propaganda and promotion; by nurturing professionals and improving marketing and management. |
