Since the reform and opening up, the government is seeking to promote the economy development and carry out infrastructure construction, especially for highway construction. Therefore, the market demand of expressway service area grows rapidly. Under the conditions of increasingly intense competition, how to improve the competitiveness of expressway service area is particularly important. It has a great effect to established a set of effective compensation management system for the market competitiveness of any business. Thus, the author took the salary problem of CQ restaurant in the expressway service area as a study object.With the method of quantitative analysis this paper collected information on salary problem through the salary Satisfaction Questionnaire. The author used the SPSS statistical software to analyze relevant data to support the compensation issues. During the process of analysis, some qualitative methods are also involved, like Interview, Observation etc.Through the survey, five points exist in salary problems of the CQ restaurant. These are the lack of salary system fairness, salary miscommunication, inadequate system of performance appraisal, welfare system is not perfect, and unreasonable salary structure. The author is trying to improve pay equity and communication issues by using job analysis and job evaluation. According to actual situation, the author adjusted the salary structure CQ restaurant and further improved the performance appraisal program. In this way, the compensation system becomes more perfect and the market competition can be greatly enhanced.
