Nowadays the competition in the market has changed from traditional products competition to the brands competition under the tendency of homogenization in the product market. The same is true in the Cars Industry. Chinese cars'market has entered brands competition era and this market has become the stage where foreign brands and self-owned brands compete among one another. The building of self-owned brands cars had started late on a weak foundation and the foreign brands are still occupying the dominant position. How to reduce the disparity and let the self-owned brands of cars in the market competition superiority has become the major issue which our country Cars Industry faces.Then how to build self-owned branded cars in China? Domestic and foreign scholars have conducted extensive researches on it. They pointed that we must attach importance to the technological innovation,the improvement of product quality,the supply of good services,Collaborations between parts suppliers and so on. For now the competitions among enterprises have transformed into the supply chain competitions. Only through the cooperation of enterprises in the Supply chain can make a good environment for the building of self-owned brands cars in China and promote the construction of independent brands.In this paper, first I analyzed the present situation and problems in the building of self-owned brands cars in China. Then it was discussed the importance of building the cars of self-owned brands. After that analyzed the upstream and downstream environment of China's self-owned brands cars'building based on supply chain. Show that it's important for the self-owned brands'building based on supply chain collaboration. Last, point that to build self-owned brands cars must strengthen the supply chain management, through cooperating with the enterprises in the supply chain to use all resources to meet customers'needs.
