In recent years, competition is severe in aluminum industry, in order to increase advantage, from the years of 2003,chalco assembles its purchasing resources, brings the scale advantage into play, pushes the centralized management to explore the right way to develop. In the paper, the author analyze the opportunity ,threat of the purchasing exercise of chalco and its future by applying SWOT analysis and TCO analysis .To bring forward the strategy of cost optimizing in purchasing. This paper may bring reference to the domestic enterprise in purchasing.
