For a long time, scholars have always been arguing over the problem whether dumping and antidumping is reasonable or not. However, many countries are not impeded to make and carry out the antidumping policy. With several hundred's practice and development, the antidumping policy has gradually become one of the main methods for the imported countries to restrict the imported goods and carry out the policy of trade protection. Since china joined WTO, the clash in trade has increased sharply. In this case, we should rationally treat, properly recognize and handle the trade dispute caused by dumping and antidumping, make proper antidumping policy suitable for the national conditions of China, which has become an important task for the Chinese theoretical kingdom, Chinese government and enterprises to be confronted with and be looked into deeply and urgently. In 1994, China started to try making the antidumping policy, and began to enforce it in 1997.As there are a wide range of factors which impact the China's choice and implementation of anti-dumping policy, in this paper we'll explore China's anti-dumping policies and practice, analyze their characteristics and problems, in the perspective of the economic effects of dumping and anti-dumping policy, aiming to clear the issue of dumping and anti-dumping, handle them in a proper way, and attempt to put forward some feasible proposals for the improvement of China's anti-dumping policy, which would then be of benefit to the development and practice of the government's anti-dumping measures. This thesis gives a preliminary analysis of economic effects of the dumping and anti-dumping policy. As for dumping, analyze economic effects on the production of import countries, social welfare, etc. As for anti-dumping, also analyze economic effects of import countries by the implementation of anti-dumping policy, such as the overall welfare effects, trade diversion effect, as well as the effect of investment across secondary protective effect. This thesis tells us the development trend and the historical evolution of the international anti-dumping policy, and it gives an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and the implementation condition of the international anti-dumping policy, besides, it points out the general trend of their development. Then, the focus of this article is an in-depth discussion of what brings China's anti-dumping policy and how it develops, which expounds the development of the China's anti-dumping policy content. Also, the article gives a brief analysis of the similarities and differences between the China's anti-dumping policy and other country's anti-dumping policy. The key point of this thesis is discussing how the anti-dumping policy practices and analyses the characteristics and the implementation condition of the international anti-dumping policy. Quantitative analysis on the status of implementation of anti-dumping policy has been done and find out the problem through the understanding of the status. As all of the existing problems were identified on the basis of discussion of the China's anti-dumping policy, the way to improve the China's anti-dumping policy is proposed.
