The development of a modern enterprise can not be separated from modern management. Human resources management is the most important modern management. Performance appraisal is an important yardstick to measure the effectiveness of human resource management. As a result, how to improve the performance of staff has become a growing concern of every enterprise, especially for the private enterprises which are in a stage of great-leap-forward development. Appraisal system which is suited for the enterprise is urgent needed.The paper studies Changzhou JC employees, using 360°feedback, key performance indicators and other modern methods of performance appraisal and using AHP to determine the weight. Through qualitative and quantitative analysis, it redesigns the appraisal system of Changzhou JC staff to achieve more effective performance management and improve the performance of the employees as well as organization.In the first, the paper describes the background and issues of research, followed discusses the basic theory and methods of the performance, and how to use AHP to determine weights. Secondly it analyzes the appraisal status of Changzhou JC employees, then points out the existing problems and reasons. Thirdly , taking Changzhou JC function department's staff as an example, it redesigns the indicator, standard and weight of performance appraisal system, then puts forward relevant proposals about feedback, use and correction of the results.
