Environmental Responsibility Of Enterprises With Foreign Investment Analysis

At Century 90's transnational corporations engage in strategic and structural adjustment on a global scale. Transnational corporations start the company's adjustment of the core is to strengthen corporate responsibility. Because of the deteriorating environment, the corporate environmental responsibility has become an important part of environmental responsibility and has been integrated into the corporate strategic planning. Since reform and opening up our country gradually expand the scale of foreign-funded enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises in China are increasingly concerned about environmental responsibility. Thus foreign-funded enterprises of our country about the impact of resources and the environment give rise to heated discussion. This article use the method of comparative analysis to research the foreign-funded enterprises in China's environmental responsibilityFirst, the paper analyzes the studies of the impact on the environment that the transnational corporations investment in the development country then summarized in previous studies of the contribution and shortcomings. Based on the research the question in this article are: The industrial enterprises in our country are divided into three categories in this paper, state-owned enteiprises, foreign-funded enterprises, other (private, township, restructuring) enterprises, then analysis the difference of these enterprises on environment responsibility of corporate from the enterprises investment in the polluting industries and the impact on the environment during the production. The analyzing in this article is at the macro level through statistical analysis of data and at the micro level through questionnaires and analysis of specific casesSecond, the paper analysis the relevant data of the National Statistical Yearbook by SPSS software. Research on foreign-funded enterprises invest in polluting industries, the paper chooses to use "total assets" and the "three wastes" emissions data in 37 industries of our country, the regression analysis results show that foreign-funded enterprises on the high pollution industry investment is not the highest. Research on the impact on resources and environment of the foreign-funded enterprises in the production, this paper chooses to use "industrial output" and the "three wastes" in 30 provinces of the three types of enterprises, the regression analysis results show that the impacts on China's resources and environment of the foreign-funded enterprises are minimized. Again in order to compensate for the lack of statistical analysis in this article use the form of a questionnaire to survey the environmental responsibility of the foreign-funded enterprises in China, the survey results and statistical analysis get the same conclusion. Most of the respondents agreed that environmental responsibility of the foreign-funded enterprises in China is better than domestic enterprises on the concept of environmental protection and what they do. Finally, this paper selected two cases of the foreign-funded enterprise this which does well in environmental responsibility.In this paper, both macro-and micro-level analysis shows that the environmental responsibility of foreign-funded enterprises in China is superior to state-owned enterprises and other (private, township, restructuring) enterprise.
