Heilongjiang Province Foreign Trade And Economic Growth In Empirical Research

Since reform and opening up, the foreign trade and economic growth in Heilongjiang province have obtained the great achievements, however, in the developing process, some problems still existed. Compared with other developed provinces, the gap also existed.This paper takes the foreign trade and economic growth of Heilongjiang province as the study focus to do the analysis. Through using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative, co integration test and the granger causality test, we know the long-term stable relationship exists between GDP and foreign trade in Heilongjiang province, the import is causal reason to economic growth, but the role of export is not significantly developed. Compared with Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Jiangsu province, we know that there are still some problems in the process of economic development in Heilongjiang Province, such as the low level of foreign trade and opening up, small volume, low technology in export commodities, low added value, low processing trade, the single form of tourism development, lack of brand-name products and so on.Through the analysis, this article gives some suggestions for Heilongjiang Province to promote the development of foreign trade and promoting economic growth, for example, expansing the foreign trade, enhancing the degree of dependence on foreign trade, optimizing export structure, improving the technological content of export commodities, changing the form of foreign trade, vigorously developing the processing trade, creating local famous brands and so on.
