In this thesis, I studied the market environment and the business operation of Zhejiang Goldcard High-Tech Engineering Co. Ltd., specifically focusing on its strategy of IC card gas meters under the current financial crisis. By using SWOT analysis, I explored the opportunities and threats that the company facing together with the competitive advantages and disadvantages the company having. According to the SWOT analysis, I explained why Goldcard selected the growth strategy under the current critical situation. Then in this study, I expounded the details of the growth strategy from two practical levels: firstly, changing the structure of the market competition by merger and acquisition so as to enhance the market power; secondly, cultivating and upgrading the competence from the interior of the company. |
