Performance appraisal, as one of the most important section in human recourse management, plays a decisive role in realizing the aim of the company, In an enterprise's infancy , the employer's preference is the guidance of the employees'performance, To be recognized by the employer is the employees'aim which totally hangs on the boss's will, When developed into a certain size, the enterprise should have a definite aim to stimulate the employees'great efforts to realize the aim and have a objective, concrete and quantitative standards to evaluate the employees'work, On one hand, performance appraisal can help the enterprise evaluate every employer's work justly which in turn decide the performance of the whole enterprise; on the other hand, KPI become the expectation and requirement of the workers'performance and the tools of shaping the workers,In fact, all the enterprises utilize formal or informal methods to evaluate employees' performance, The methods vary in forms, such as alternation ranking method, paired comparison method, critical incident method and graphic rating scale, Every method has its advantages and disadvantages, Different methods suits enterprises differing in industries or in its different development stages , No matter which methods one chooses, the aim is all the same that to accomplish the strategic goals of the enterprises,In fact, all the enterprises utilize formal or informal methods to evaluate employees' performance, The methods vary in forms, such as alternation ranking method, paired comparison method, critical incident method and graphic rating scale, Every method has its advantages and disadvantages, Different methods suits enterprises differing in industries or in its different development stages , No matter which methods one chooses, the aim is all the same that to accomplish the strategic goals of the enterprises,In the thesis, the foundation of Daphne's performance appraisal system is based on the analysis of what the survey to the employees reflects, The thesis explains why Daphne should use performance appraisal system and give the clear definition of it, In the foundation of the system, the thesis first introduces the definitions of all concepts used in performance appraisal, such as the design principle and the process of the performance management, the duty of relevant departments, the principle of the setting of the objectives, the tools of the dissolution of objectives, balanced scorecard and the process of BSC, so as to make the staff and the boss know what is performance management and why the enterprise should manage the performance of the employees, Secondly, after the introduction of the relevant concepts, the thesis use some simple graphs and examples to make a detailed and straightaway explanation on the implementation of the core in the performance management and introduces the solutions of some common problems in the evaluation, such as how to feedback, how to have an interview and how to quantify the appraisal,After analyzing the problems in Daphne's existent performance appraisal and introducing the advanced performance appraisal system, the thesis uses HR departments as an example to set sample indicators for the set of KPI of all the departments, The discourse on the foundation of Daphne's performance appraisal in the thesis can be used as the training book of the handbook of Daphne's PA, I hope the PA system could be improved in practice,...
