Bristol City Industrial Cluster Development Strategy

In the new century the issue of industrial cluster has been attracting the attention from theoretical circles, industry field and authorities. As the successful method and model under the industrialization development, industrial cluster has become the tide of the increasing global economy, which plays an important role to boost up the regional economy development and strengthen regional competence. Currently Industrial cluster is quite developed in western countries and very active in the developed provinces of China, while it is at a primary stage in the western region of our country because of the disparities in the market-oriented, opening up, geographical conditions, government conducts and humanities environment. Few domestic researches aim at industrial cluster in middle belt and the regional development strategy need supporting of study conclusion on the basic of industry cluster in this area. It is worth discussing for the Academia, political and business circles to seek after a suitable way industrial cluster development according to the front theories and successful models at home and aboard. This thesis tries to analyze the following questions in the perspective of the industrial cluster and enterprises management :(1) what's the inside and outside environment of industrial cluster development in Xian Tao? (2)Which way should Xian Tao choose to develop industrial cluster? (3)How to ensure Xian Tao's development strategy of industrial cluster to carry out successfully? The writer hopes the conclusions of this thesis by analyzing can give the revelation to governors of Xian Tao and other central underdeveloped areas.The thesis consists of six parts. The first chapter groups the cognitive mistakes and practice confusion in Xian Tao's industrial cluster development, which forms the basis and context of this thesis. The second chapter introduces the current situations of industrial cluster development in Xian Tao, including evolution path and basic general conditions; also this part evaluates the competence of industrial cluster simply. On the basic of Chapter Two, the third chapter and the fourth chapter analyze outside and inside environments respectively from the view ports of opportunities and threat, strength and weakness. The fifth chapter points out the strategy choice of industrial cluster for Xian Tao city, including basic ideas, development objectives and direction. Chapter Six puts forward the implementation of industrial cluster strategy, such as government positioning, development planning, industrial park construction, service supporting, etc. The last chapter is the summary and prospect of this thesis, containing the conclusion of this thesis, the direction of further study.
