China's Foreign Direct Investment In The Status Quo And Strategic Studies

The progress of global economic integration brings more opportunity and challenge to Chinese enterprises that they never met. It is also a very important policy that China must meet the international completion actively by developing the FDI abroad. The economy of China has made remarkable economic miracle during thirty years under the reform and open policy. Meanwhile, the FDI abroad of China has got great progress. But comparing to the substantive FDI (inflow), FDI (outflow) is still on a low level.Combinating the theory with practical, the article gives a summary to various of FDI theories as well as research and analysis of the China's investment abroad, trying to carry out a strategy system including the industry selection, region selection, investor selection, which are practical suggestion for the development of China's investment abroad.The article includes seven chapters as follows:Chapter 1 introduces the background of the subject, makes a short summary to the theory development of the FDI theory then carries out the research method and the theory system of this article.Chapter 2 gives a brief recollection of the classical FDI theory from both developed and developing countries as well as gives a analysis to the usage possibility towards China.Chapter 3 gives a research towards the develop history and the economic developing effect, balance of payments effect , industrial set-ups effect and the employment effect of China's direct investment abroad , researching the effect of direct investment towards the export by the way of measure analysis. The result of research shows that the investment abroad of China has a positive effect towards the economic development, however, since the investment is in a junior stage thus the positive is not obvious yet.From chapter 4 to chapter 6 this article carries out the basis elements of the direct investments strategy on the basis of summing up the current situation of the direct investment of China, as well as built a strategy system including the choice of the industry sets-up, the location, the subject and the way of investment, and gives a systematically summary of the connection between this strategy system and it's elements.
