| During the trend of economy's globalization, the multinational strengthens the percentage of product development in foreign country step by step as well as in developing country. It really reflects the driving factor and decision factor for globalization of product development. Due to the pressure of competition, it drives the short product life cycle and cost driving; at same time the enterprise have to search new working model to organize their product development activity. However this article is discussing the new development cooperation model, which is focusing on the development cooperation between Brand Company and OEM factory. The characteristic of development model is that there is the link to production; in fact it also builds up the strategy alliance with OEM factory.Some challenges cause company to search for the opportunity of development cooperation , like the cost and risk of R&D,and also time to marketing .Fast growing of semiconductor industry and the high competition of flash assembly ,that makes flash assembly development more and more complication which will be related to the technology of mechanical,electricial ,material and thermal. In order to reduce the development risk and lead-time, the majority of flash brand company kicks off the cooperation of product development with package OEM. At same time Brand Company keeps the core competency on hand .actually it is also challenge for cooperation development with different culture,working style and language.This article bases on the perspective of Brand Company, and analyzes the characteristic of product cooperation development between flash company and assembly OEM and also the necessary of assembly cooperation development .base on that Bring forward the recommendation of cooperation model at the beginning and also assembly OEM selection criteria of OEM selection at the end of development.
