Nurtured By The Core Competitiveness Of China's Listed Banks

The listed banks in China face the pressure from the homeland and foreign competition today. We should participate in the international financial competition, if we want to improve our nationality financial sector' s competence and acquire persistent development. This paper tries to study the definition and identification of core competence of the listed banks in China, and discuss some countermeasures that can improve the core competence, though combining the some characteristic of the listed banks in China.This paper includes four chapters. In chaper one, we analyze the important strategic meaning of listed bank core competition investigation, the generation literature and configuration of this paper.. In chapter two, we analysis the factor of listed bank competition identification emphatically according the theory of core competition. The identification factors are brought forward also. In chapter three, we discuss how to assess the core compentence of the listed banks, and put that in practice. In chapter four , we bring forward some advice on improving the listed banks' core compentence from 4 direction:across-the-aboard risk management, corporate governance, quickening financial innovation and incentive mechanism.
