Development Strategies Of Changde City Of Agricultural Standardization Demonstration Area

The agriculture and rural economy in our country is facing a brand new stage of development. On the one hand, the agricultural products supply has gradually met the demand from under-supply. Especially after our country entering into WTO, the agricultural products are confronted with hyper-fierce international competition. On the other hand, as too much pesticide and chemical fertilizer are abused, it results in agricultural ecological environment worsening rapidly, the quality and safety problems of agricultural products increasingly exposure to public concern, and quality problems happening in succession. Implementing the agricultural standardization will have a significant impact on strengthening the international competitiveness of agricultural products, ensuring their safety and quality, realizing agricultural industrial restructuring, boosting peasant's income, and also preserving the ecological environment.This thesis set out to investigate and study the current situation of agricultural standardized districts of Changde City, aims at analyzing the actual effect that agricultural standardized districts of Changde City have had, figuring out existing main hindering factors, and therefore proposing counter-measures accordingly. The thesis clearly analyses the developing of agricultural standardized districts of Changde City in China, from its taking-off phase, developing phase, stagnation and even backward stage ,to turning-point phase and then comprehensively developing phase. In addition to that, it demonstrates the present situation and future trend abroad of agricultural standards. Basic knowledge on agricultural standardized districts of Changde City is necessarily outlined in the thesis. There are the connotation and characteristic, objective and principles of agricultural standardization, the connotation of agricultural standardized districts and the reasons for its existence. The thesis provides introductory information of the developing history of agricultural standardized districts of Changde City. By factor-analysis, five different patterns of agricultural standardized districts of Changde City are introduced. And their work is interpreted by means of Macro-analysis and performance analysis. Several factors that hamper agricultural standardized districts of Changde City's development are listed as follows: a) unbalance and cooperative of organizational work system, b)lagged standards system of agriculture, c) the low ratio of standard affections, d)insufficient product detecting ability.Then the author figures out specific counter-measures on how to further push forth the construction of agricultural standardized districts of Changde City on a diversity of aspects. There are, namely, intensifying organizational management, standardizing system construction, enlarging its implementation, improving agricultural products' quality, and evaluating on its economic effect.
