Construction Of Fujian Province Based On Dea Model Evaluation Of Sustainable Development

Construction industry should carry through sustainable development even more to conform with the tide of history as the pillar industry of national economy,for the basic thought of sustainable development pentrates step by step through each field of social economy currently.How to change the extensive mode of growth of construction industry development is a problem we must solve well.The first two chapters gived the definition of sustainable development and introduction of the sustainable development of construction industry in our country. The papers also introduced the principle and definition of DEA model after the introduction of production possibility frontier.The chapter three elaborated the principles and the methods of construct the index system of sustainable development of construction industry. Combining the characteristics of construction industry.the chapter three also constructed the universal index system of sustainable development for construction based on DEA model.There is an empirical study in the chapter four. In the first section,we get the relative technical efficiency,relative pure technical efficiency and relative scale efficiency of construction industry in Fujian province according to statistical data,which does help for us to compared construction industry in Fujian province with other provinces' construction industry(Except Tibet and Qinghai province).In the second section,we got sustainable development track of construction industry in Fujian province between 1999-2006. Chapter four aslo adjusted uneffective decision making units and calculated the quantity of the resources can be saved.According to the empirical study,the last chapter gave some suggestions and measures that we should adjust the level of development ,development of efficiency, scale of development,development potencial to make construction industry in Fujian province in progress.
