Sulu Provinces Development Of Processing Trade And The Effect Of A Comparative Study

Since Reform & Open in China, the international trade of China has developed rapidly. As one of the most important components in international trade, processing trade has taken half out the value of international trade. However, the scholars have a lot of controversies in the effects of processing trade. Both Jiangsu and Shandong Province are the international trade developed provinces inhave many differences in the facts of processing trade. Given the processing trade's importance in international trade and its uncertainty in effects, it would be very meaningful to research problems concerned with processing trade on the basis of comparison between Jiangsu and Shandong Province.First, the thesis elaborates the concepts and characteristics of processing trade the theories about reason and effect of processing tradeglobal and China's processing trade and forecasts the trend in the future. Then, by comparing the data, the author compares the development level as well characteristics of processing trade in two provinces and analyzes the reasons for the differences.After that, the writer first adopts the national economy equilibrium and the econometric methods respectively to estimate the contribution of processing trade in two provinces to the GDP. In end, the writer proposes some policy recommendations based on the conclusion of comparison.
