Laboratory Quality Management System

From the 1980s, with the enlarging size of labortaries, the conflict between quantity and quality stands out increasingly. Quality management is the core question in the development of labortaries. To regulate the labortary quality management, International Standard Organization (ISO) has established ISO17025: 2005 in the basis of ISO9000 and in the relation of labortary characteristics.This paper introduces the basic concepets, the basic regularities and the basic rules of the labortary quality management system and the ISO17025: 2005. It has also discussed the model of the labortary quality management system and the procedure of its construction. And in the case of the labortary of Yangzhou Product Quality Inspection & Supervision Institute, the construction and opreation of its quality management has been analysed paticularly, it has been estimated through the maturity estimation model and Analytic Hierachy Process (AHP). In the end, the countermeasures and sugesstions have been given in orde to improve the quality management system, which are worth of recommendation for the construction and opreation of the quality management system.
