Under the economic globalization's situation to win the competition, the information technology applications have the pivotal function to the enterprise. The enterprise must in the foundation which the management transforms, introduces ERP the advanced management model and idea, implements ERP comprehensively, optimizes the allocation of their overall resources, and improves business management. But the reality is that"ERP implementation is difficult, the success rate is low."Through the review of literature materials, this paper summarizes the ERP implementation steps; analyzes the influential factors to ERP implementation, discovers critical factors; analyzes the ERP implementation defeat's primary causes, and proposes the corresponding measures to be taken. Based on this, proposes a critical success factors model. This model includes 7 critical success factors: chief leader's support, business process reengineering, education and training, simulation, project management, system choosing and the corporate culture.On the basis of the person's mature, this paper develops the questionnaire to use to survey and describe critical success factors and the ERP system is successful. Through investigated 8 corporations, Qian'an local iron and steel enterprises with the implementation of the ERP system, analyzes the questions which existed in ERP implementation, discusses critical success factors, and using multiple regression to analyze the data, verifies the assumption of this paper.7 critical success factors for successful implementation of ERP systems have a positive role in promoting: chief leader's support, business process reengineering, the education and training, the simulation are confirmed that ERP implementation's critical success factors for the Qian'an local iron and steel enterprise, business process reengineering is most prominent; Because the critical success factors' mutual influence, the project management, the system choosing and the corporate culture to the ERP system success are inferior to the first 4 factors, but they still have the positive influence to the ERP system success.Based on the empirical study, analyzes the success factors to Qian'an local iron and steel enterprise ERP implementation, for the enterprise senior administrators, and proposes the countermeasure and suggestion that promotes the local iron and steel enterprise to implement ERP: renewal management idea, business process reengineering, comprehensive simulation, transformation corporate culture and innovation incentive mechanism.
