The Plight Of China's Refined Oil Price Reforms And Countermeasures

Petroleum is vital for progress of human beings and development of society. It is closely related to all aspects of the national economy and the people's dailylife. Reforms on refined oil price concerns the interests of consumers and the healthy development of socialist market economy. This paper deeply analyzes the difficulties and problems of China's refined oil prices ,and points out several specific and feasible reform measures.At present, China's refined oil prices cannot reflect the extent of the scarcity of resources,market supply and demand are seriously distorted. Contradictions between the interests of oil refining enterprise and the interests of consumers, between the high cost of running the economy and improvement of the pricing system are all waiting to be solved urgently. This article holds that China's refined oil price reform should not only focus on the reforms of refined oil price-forming system, we should put more efforts on enhancing China's speaking right in international petroleum market. The reforms of price-forming system is the"Appearance", enhancing China's speaking right in international petroleum market is the"Root". Catching two ways, and tackling both symptoms is needed. In that case we can truly go out of the difficult situation of China's refined oil price reforms.
