Information Age Enterprise Organizational Model Building

Organizational structure of enterprises is the basic framework for enterprises survival and development. The advent of information age has brought an unprecedented impact to the organizations. Because of the wider use of information technology, the transfer of information becomes faster and faster, and promote the management methods and organizational structures changing. The traditional organization structure has been unable to adapt to dynamic changes in the external environment, and therefore asked the enterprises to use information technology as the basic flat, to adjust the internal organizational structure to the development requirements of the information age. The present paper is precisely raised under such background, believed the study of enterprise organization model in information age have great theoretical and practical significance. Firstly, the paper reviews and analyses the enterprise organizational theory from the classical theory of organization design, the new classical theory of organization design to modern theories of organization design, and the modern theories of the latest developments, as laid down a good theory basis of this paper. Through the study found that: information technology changes the mode of communication, operations, production, competition, and promotes the evolution of the organization structure. Then, it researches the organization structure and mode of operation of the enterprises in information age and summarized the organization structure has a flat, flexible, network-based trend.Next, this paper puts forward the organization model in the information age, organized a project team-based, coordinated by the senior management team control the various units throughout the organization, design the necessary service function centers to protect the effective operation of the project teams and the business processes. Information technology platform is the information broadcasting access, and is the major condition for the enterprises to achieve a flat organization structure. Therefore the organization model in information age should be carried out in four dimensions of construction: constructing the project teams; improving the internal control systems and the establishing of external communication and coordination mechanisms, establishing the information technology platform. Empirical studies for the last part of the international construction company built in the organizational model for analysis and research.Finally, it analyzes the china state construction international company's organization model and the above research results are applied to analyze the company's organizational model to further verification of the research results.The innovations lie in this paper are in summing up the organization structure theory and its advantages and disadvantages, studying and comparing the characteristics, the advantages and the disadvantages of the modern organization structure model, analyzing the information technology and organization structure of the relationship between information technology development and the organization structure, concluded that the development of the technology is the internal driving external motivation forces for changing. And it sums up the overall developing trend of the organization structure. After that, the organization structure model of the information age is proposed and the building methods and ideas are provided in the paper to give a hand to the enterprises. This paper uses below research methods: theorization analysis, comparative studies and summarize. Through this research, hope the enterprises can recognize that information technology and the network plays an important role in the organization structure. Enterprise managers should re-examine the organization structure of the enterprises, and should choose a structure adapted to the information age to meet a new Enterprise age.
