In recent years, the agricultural product quality safety is becoming a hot issue. The quality of agricultural products is direct impacted by environment of product area. The government promulgates the "Agricultural product quality safety law" to ensure the quality of agricultural product, and will determine some non-product areas. To ensure non-production policy's implementation effect, the government will provide a reasonable compensation to the peasant in these areas. Therefore, it is needed to know what kind of compensation is efficient and meet the peasant's demands. Based on an investigation of 193 farmers in Ao river basin in Zhejiang Province, this paper carries out a research on peasant household's compensation expectation and the influencing factors.There are five chapters in the paper. The first chapter introduces this article research background, research significance and the range of study. It also introduces this article research method and framework. Chapter two makes a comprehensive review of the related theories and papers is presented. Chapter three introduces the reason why government should give compensation to farmers based on theory arid the reality necessity in chapter three. Chapter four, first introduces the interview and the collected survey date, then based on the data, the Logistic model is set up to analyze the farmers' compensation expectation and the impacting factors. Finally, the paper is concluded with the summarization, conclusions and some policy suggestions.The main findings of the paper conclude (1): The farmers' age has a significant impact on farmers' compensation expection. Compared to older farmers, younger farmers prefer receiving the indirect compensation. (2): Farmers' concurrent business has a significant impact on their compensation expectation. The farmers whose concurrent business is mainly to non-agricultural production prefer receiving the indirect compensation. (3): The income of family has a significant impact on farmers' compensation expectation. The higher income farmers have, the more they like indirect compensation. (4): The producing purpose has a significant impact on expectations. The farmers who plant for self-consumption prefer receiving direct compensation.
