| Construction machinery industry is the significant source for the development of national economy and the basis for a nation's international competitiveness from the perspective of changes in the world economic structure.As more than twenty years of reform and opening up, the construction machinery industry in Hunan Province has made great achievements. After China entered the World Trade Organization in year 2001, the economy in Hunan developed stably and fleetly, foreign trade, FDI and corporations' world invests are active in a high pace. In this favorable economic situation, the construction machinery has been one of the supporting industries in Hunan, but there is still huge gap between the Hunan' construction machinery industry and world counterpart.According to the review on relevant theories and evaluation methods of international industry competitiveness, provides the evaluation model of international competitiveness of Hunan manufacturing industry. 12 indexes are screened to show the international competitiveness of that industry.The results showed that the general international competitiveness of Hunan construction machinery industry was comparatively high in the national scope, the policy suggestion according to the evaluation result. |
