In the process of global integration, Oversea visual arts are so popular as the throngs of their ideological trend, but the localization vision language's aphasia phenomenon is extremely prominent. As the significant constituent of traditional culture, ancient China advertisement culture has historical study value. In view of being neglected frequently, even being despised, how to recall this cultural declining tendency becomes the current significant task.Traditional Chinese culture is the spiritual core of national culture, and the basis of culture's development and continuity, as well as the fundamental starting point and the spirit of the source of modern art design. With the increase of national strength and arrival of 08 Olympic Games, China becomes the focus of world attention, the same as traditional Chinese culture. More and more outstanding design works join into the national style ranks, such as the gold medal and torch of Olympic Games.As early as in ancient times, our ancestors had already created lots of geometric shapes and related composition, which is filled with mysterious flavor and imagination, such as painted pottery of Yangshao culture. Subsequent Shang and Zhou, Spring and Autumn, the Qin and Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, although every dynasty cultural and arts activities are subject to the rulers political, economic and other effects, the each performance is very active, and continual development and evolution, especially in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, art and advertising culture tends to be more mature.Based on the design of traditional Chinese culture, this paper takes the dialectical materialism and historical materialism as a guide, by citing examples about ancient and modern, especially focus on the design of graphics creative concepts, creative words, and the traditional concept of graphic design in the application of modern design. We want to find and develop their own traditional culture and sum up the reasonable factors of modern design culture to explore national cultural characteristics of the advertisement.
