Price wars not only influence the profit of the enterprises, but also influence the development of the whole industry, and cause waste of the social resource. Therefore it is necessary to know the nature of the price war and then to avoid the irregular price wars. Based on the international container Liner Transport industry, this paper is to research factors that have influence on price wars, and to explain the relationship between influencing factors and the price wars.First, based on the research of overseas and domestic researchers, this paper concludes that product ability, the age of industry, commodity-like, market concentration, scope domino effect, ect. have strong relations with price competition. Then target on the international container Liner Transport industry, using contrast-analysis method and game theory, find out the relationship between influencing factors and the price competition of the industry. Then by means of quantitative analysis, this paper proves the relationship between price wars and influencing factors which can be told by data. Finally some advices are given for the price wars in international container Liner Transport industry.To make sure the relationship between price wars and its influencing factors, and to know the nature of price wars in international container Liner Transport industry, help to predictor and also to avoid the irregular price wars in future.
