Corporations must create time utility and convenience utility efficiently to survive in a competitive business environment. The courier service providers help corporations keep contact with customers and the industry closely by providing fast and convenient delivery service. So it becomes an important consideration for corporations to choose the optimal courier service provider to cooperate with. In the research, we choose the corporations that use courier service frequently as the samples, and try to understand how they make decision from the alternatives -DHL, UPS, EMS, SHENTONG &ZHONGTIE.There are many subjective and quantitive factors to be considered by the decision maker during the process of choosing courier companies. The questionnaire is used in this research to get the result. There are six main indices - speed & reliability, freight, safety, quality of employee, service & convenience, factors considered by carrier. The questionnaire is made up of two parts, including the evaluation of essentiality to the services provided by courier companies and the investigation of satisfactory degree of the courier companies under these indices.There are complexity and fuzzy factors in the process of making decision because corporations need to consider many subjective and qualitative criteria in choosing. Here we use the Function Principle to be as the operation of the generalized fuzzy number in the expression generalized fuzzy number of the multiple criteria. Then we use Graded Mean Integration Representation Method to defuzzify the total evaluation, and rank the alternatives by Graded Mean Integration Ranking Method to find the suitable one for corporations. To find the optimal linguistic variable for corporations to show the evaluation of the courier service providers, we use Similarity of Graded Mean Integration to trace back of the optimal linguistic variable as the reference for corporations. By establishing this modal, corporations could choose the best partner and find the best factor in different situations without making very precise comparison. And the express companies could also improve their service quality by it.
