On The Balance Of Payments Surplus On China's Foreign Trade

The international revenue and expenditure, as a tool for recording and measuring the complete economic transactions and trade balance, is more and more importance for China which is gradually expanding the open-up in the period of global economic integration. Since the reform and opening to the outside world, cargo trade has gone through a process from trade deficit to favorable trade balance, especially in 1990s, we have already undertaken "twin surplus" of international revenue and expenditure for 15 years which have also led to out-of-balance between inside and outside economy. However, "twin surplus" of international revenue and expenditure in our country have two sides on development of our foreign trade. One is positive, the other is negative. This is an issued question about how to recognize the influnce the "twin surplus" brings in our foreign trade as well as the measure we should take. This article is divided into four parts to discuss how "twin surplus" impact on our foreign trade.Chapter one of the article is the introduction. It has mainly introduced the research background and has explained content, meaning and purpose.Chapter two of the article introduces the current state of "twin surplus" of international revenue and expenditure. At first, the article has investigated the state of "twin surplus" and defined it and then analyzed its characteristics. On this basis, the article has carried on studying the reasons for "twin surplus" appearance in our country, including international and domestic aspects.Chapter three of the article is how "twin surplus" impact on our foreign trade. It has found some positive and negative influences and the worsest influence has been increasing international payment surplus constantly which makes inflation and international trade friction aggravate, moreover, international congenial capitals take fierce impact on our domestic economy, etc..Chapter four of the article is suggestions and measures that our country should adopt to tackle the negative influences of "twin surplus". It has been proposed the concrete measures to deal with negative influences in "twin surplus". For example, we can transform our economic development strategy from export-oriented to inward; we can ajust the foreign trade strategy making light of entrance weight outlet; we can revise the industrial policy by using foreign funds, etc.To solve the problem in "twin surplus" of international revenue and expenditure is a complex and time-consuming project because of its complicated origins and profound influences. I hope that balance of international revenue and expenditure in our country will come true as soon as possible, which also can improve the development of our foreign trade.
