Along with the coming of the intellectual economy and the acceleratingof the global integration, the competitions between the corporations arethe competitions of the talented persons. The key to the prosperity of thecorporations depends on how to attract and retain the talented personsneeded by the corporations and how to fully bring the talented persons intoplay. So it is very important for the corporations to attract and retainthe talented persons and fully bring them into play by designing the meritsystem of performance and the measures of checking, and it is the mostimportant work for the personnel department in the modern corporations.According to the investigation data, the employees regard the highsalaryas avery important target at all times, so the amount of the salaryaffects their behaviors and performances directly. The scientific andreasonable salary system and the merit system of performance can appraisesthe employees correctly and improve thee mployees' enthusiasm, fullybringthem into play, make them create great value for the corporations. Whichis the very important measure for the manage department. So using theadvanced theory of salary system, the system of position evaluation andthe system of scientific judgment and the measures of operation in practicein our corporations, the design according with the practice in ourcorporation and the market economy is the problem that we must solveimmediately.The paper is based on the study about The YongAn Artificial BoardFactory, focused on the microcosmic organization of the corporation.According to the policy-making body, the theory of the Organizing ActionScience, the Management Science and Economics. I makea study on the salarysystem and the merit system of performance and practical status of thecorporation, try to probe into and found the salary system and the meritsystem of performance that suits for the practical status of the corporationand market economy.At first, the paper starts with the macroscopic background of thecorporation, combines with the microcosmic status of the corporation, putsforward the investigative problems and meanings. Then I will analyses thepresent status of the salary system and the merit system of performanceand puts forward the existing problems, according to the problems, I tryto design the salary system and the merit system of performance. The designcalls for a lot of work and manage documents, it is impossible for a paperto deal with the work and the documents. Combining with some analyses ofthe status in the corporation, I only put forward some methods and contentsof the design in the paper. At last I will make the conclusions.The main contents are as follows.The first chapter: introduction. It mostly introduces the problems put forward and its meanings, the investigation for the salary system and themerit system of performance and the thoughts and contents of theinvestigation.The second chapter: I will analyze the present status of the salarysystem and the merit system of performance in YongAn Artificial BoardFactory, and try to find out the main problems remained.The third chapter: the design of the merit system of performance ofYongAn Artificial Board Factory. Being On the basis of Management ofBusiness Objects (MBO), Taking full advantage of Balance of Scheming Card(BSC) and Key Database of Personal Information (KPI), I will put forwarda series of systems of check of performance and management that suit forthe corporation.The fourth chapter: The design of salary system for The YongAnArtificial Board Factory. According to the problems of salary systemremained in the factory, I will take full advantage of the design methodsof salary system to redesign the salary system. According to analyze ofposition, the evaluation of position, the salary for the position, I willcomplete the system.The fifth chapter: Using the result of the merit system of performancein the salary system. According to the present status of YongAn ArtificialBoard Factory, I will combine the result of the merit system of performancewith the salary system, so as to fully bring the merit system of performanceinto play.According to the analyze of the merit system of performance and thesalary system at present in the factory, I will find out the remainingproblems and shortages, then use the policy of the salary system, theevaluation of position, the scientific check system, combining with thepractical status of the corporation to complete the redesign of the meritsystem of performance and the salary system for the corporation. The purposeis to solve the remaining problems and attract and retain the talentedpersons for the corporation.The paper is remaining something to improve and the design is onlya frame demanded to complete. How to bring it into effect should be furtherinvestigated.
