China Central Regional Innovation Systems Evaluation And Comparative Study

At present, regional innovation system research is quite a popular topic and the contribution made by regional innovation for regional economy development is more and more prominent, regional innovation system has become an indispensable way for regional economy development. In the system of national economy, the eastern area accelerates to develop, the western area positively advances, and the northeast area inspires the strong wind again, while the middle area continue to hollow. In view of this kind of unbalanceable regional development, Premier Wen Jiabao put forward strategic concept of "middle rise" in the "Government Work Report" (2004) for the first time. How to cognate present situation of regional innovation system in the middle area and develop regional innovation system well, and make great contribution for economy development of the area is a topic, which needs urgent study.This paper synthesizes the theory of regional economics, innovation theory and the actual situation of middle area in the frame of regional innovation system, applies the standard and the empirical research methods, qualitative and the quantitative investigation methods, mathematical analysis and comparative analysis, then it studies the following content of three aspects by different data processing methods: the first one is evaluation research of regional innovation ability, the second is evaluation research of organizational structure and movement mechanism of regional innovation system, the third is evaluation research of region innovation performance. Through the evaluation and comparison research, had initially explored present situation of region innovation system in the middle area, and propose measures and suggestions for the middle area to develop regional innovation system according to the current situation and deficiency of the area.The study on regional innovation system still shoulders heavy responsibilities, and we have only done exploratory analysis, aiming at casting a brick to attract jade, we expect that more colleagues can continue to deepen the research in this respect.
