Looking at present market conditions, on the one hand, the global economic integration and the increasing development of our country give unprecedented chance to the whole industry. On the other hand, the structure of construction market is irrational , there are too marry construction enterprises which have not been specialized, which caused the market competition intensifing day by day, not mention the land agent has generally delayed the payment of projects. These made construction enterprises fallen into the cash-recycling difficulty. With the income and the profit largely dropping, the whole industry faced with stern test.Presently, there is few research about competition strategy of construction enterprises. therefor, this article tries to a make breakthrough in this aspect. Through collecting a lot of reference materials and using concerning theories about strategy management, this article aims to find proper competition strategy for the research object----- the Chengdu Construction Engineering Group, which especially fits the condition of the local market and the benefit of the whole employers.This article firstly analyzes the domestic and international environment, and then points out the opportunities and threats which the construction industry meets. Secondly, it looks for the advantages and disadvantages of the group from its inner resourses and conditions. Thirdly, it list four kinds of different competition strategies and choose comparatively suitable one for the company to put into practice.
