Along with the rapid development of e-commerce, enterprises are facing an increasingnumber of opportunities and challenges. Because of the openness and anonymity ofonline transactions, enterprises had been brought great risk. Online enterprise creditproblem has become China's e-commerce development bottleneck. Therefore the researchon the online enterprise credit evaluation has important practical significance.Firstly, the methods of traditional business credit evaluation are summarized. Theenterprise features in the e-business environment are brought forward. The elements ofthe online enterprise credit evaluation are given out. The concept of credit, trust andreputation are introduced and analyzed. The meaning of credit evaluation, and the contentand methods of it are discussed, as well as the traditional credit evaluation methods arecompared.Secondly, considering with the particularity of online transactions, a detailed comparisonof the existing domestic and overseas websites credit evaluation system in the sevenaspects is made. The Alibaba's trustpass that is the method of credit evaluation had beenintroduced and estimated. The problem of the existing online enterprise credit evaluationsystems is analyzed. On these bases, in combination with the traditional credit evaluationmethods and the existing online credit evaluation systems, a new online enterprise creditevaluation index system (OECEIS) is proposed. This index system contains the offlinestatic indicators and the online dynamic indicators which can be divided into buyer andseller indicators. Then, AHP is used to calculate the weight of OECEIS indicators.Thirdly, we selected 50 enterprises in the Alibaba B2B Website and collected the lateston-line transaction data of these enterprises. The OECEIS is used to evaluate the creditsituation of these enterprises. We verified the validity of the OECEIS by comparing therelationship between OECEIS credit value, the index of trustpass and the volume ofenterprise transaction.Finally, the construction of online enterprise credit management system is discussed,which based on OECEIS. And we proposed that to build a sound and effective onlineenterprise credit management system which combinning the social environment and legalenvironment.
