| Total factor productivity (TFP) is one of the hot topics in current academic research. Nowadays, China is being in the crucial period of industrial structure upgrade and economic growth way transforms. However, the economic sustainable development is actually confronting several challenges such as the resource scarcities, low investment efficiency, high energy consumption and serious environmental pollution. Along with the increasing employment pressure arising from the shift of countryside labor force surplus and the re-employment of the unemployed, as well as the increasing residential incomegap coming from urban-rural dual economic structure, total factor productivity (TFP) enhancement has already become the core weapon for our country to successfully realize the 11th five-year development plan and harmonious society construction. At the same time, the 21st century is also the new centuries for talent competition. But in fact, the low quality labor resources are unable to match the request for industrial structure upgrade and economy rapid development. Therefore, how to improve quality and skill for the existing labor resource and sufficiently bring its enabled advantages and integrating advantage into play will be the key element to increase TFP rapidly.On the basis of combing domestic and foreign existing academic documents, this paper first put forward the renew concept for total factor productivity (TFP) systematically, making it more perfect and scientific to guide our country socialism modernization practice; Then on the research foundation of renew concept of TFP, from the resource integrating angle, this paper has carded on systematic analyses for labor resources' important contribution and highlighted the vital role of labor resource in the field of TFP enhancement; Finally, aiming at the existing problems in aspect of labor resource and TFP conformity, this paper proposes some feasible countermeasures and the suggestion, having certain foresight and guidance. |
