Harness Test Management System Development And Implementation

Wiring harness test instrument is a kind of device that is responsible for quality and reliability of wiring harness. By connection test principle it can eliminate invalidation products that can not work properly for their failure, such as open circuit,short circuit, wrong connection, loose connection and instant open circuit. As a result it improves quality of product. Now this kind of device is widely used in wiring harness test of household appliances, communication devices, aero plane, cars, and military equipment.This dissertation mainly introduce the wiring harness management system based on database. The system is designed according to the developing concept of object-orient and standard developing process of database design. The modules of wiring harness test, formation management and communication are mainly discussed in this paper.First, the background about this project is discussed , then the database system and the wiring harness management system are introduced in this dissertation. Second, the basic principles and invalid modes of the wiring harness check management system are analyzed including the requirement specification. Third, the models of wiring harness management system is designed and the data flow charts for information analysis are designed and the storage manner of the database is pointed out according to the standard developing process of database design. At last, the designing processes of the three important function modules in this system are introduced, including wiring harness test, information management and communication module.With this software of wiring harness test management system, the large number of data could be managed and stored and the process of the test could be demonstrated by operators conveniently, as well as the easily updating of the database makes the wiring harness management system very useful.
