| With the development of Human Resource Management, it has become the partner of stragetic decisions, from its original role as personnel archives management, in modern companies. One critical factor for companies to survive and development in a competitive environment is to understand how to use their human resources efficiently. As a part of human resource management, performance management can largely improve firms' competitive strengths by its way to combine companies' over all strategies with employees' daily activities.As it has been proved, performance management becomes a very popular instrument to improve employees' performances, and as a consequence, to further improve firms' overall performances. However, since the lack of experience, the effects of performance management systems in many domestic companies are not as good as we expected .Therefore, how to establish a systematical and efficient performance management system becomes a critical task for all domestic businesses.Like other domestic companies, the A Company also lacks of an efficient performance management system. Therefore, this study seeks to give A Company some recommendations on how to establish a performance management system. Based on A Company's overall strategy and the theories of performance management, this study has generated a suitable method to establish the company's performance management system, which is combined by different performance management instruments, such as Balance Scorecard and KPI.This report has been divided into five chapters in order to provide readers a logistical framework for comprehending this research, chapter one will clarify the importance of this research, as well as introduce the research targets of this dissertation. The second chapter will conduct a literature review in order to have an overview of related theories and draw an academic background for the following processes. Chapter three will point out A Company's weakness on its performance management. The precise descriptions of how to establish A Company's performance management system are arranged in Chapter four. The last chapter is the assessment to the system and the summary to the whole article. |
