Practice And Development Of The Economy, Technological Innovation In Shandong

Today with more and more importance attached to the economic development all over the world, technological innovation has become an important means of promoting the speed of economic growth. The scientific and technological innovation in China gets off to a late start and there is still a certain gap between China and the developed countries. At the same time, we are under great pressure, which on the one hand comes from the policy makers' deficient understanding of the accelerating function of scientific and technological innovation towards the economic development; on the other hand, comes from the deep influence of the former systems and concepts, which only pursue short-term gains and ignore the long-term development.With an analysis mainly centering on the structure and running system of the scientific and technological innovation, especially its promotion mechanism on the economic development, this paper clarifies the impact of regional economic development and environmental factors on regional technological innovation. This dissertation is developed within the framework of Michael E.Porter's theory of Cometitiveness of Nations Strategy and the research results of competitive edge from the Management Institute in Lausanne, Switzerland. This dissertation will take a comparative study of technological innovation ability between some domestic provinces in term of innovation environment, knowledge creation, knowledge acquisition and innovative capability of enterprises etc. a comment is given to the technological innovation ability of Shandong province.There are three new points in this paper: (1) The correlation analysis is introduced into the evaluation system of technological innovation and economic development. Through the analysis of some representative indices, such as : R & D, number of patent and new product and other indicators related to economic development, the dissertation gets a index which contributes less to the economic development and gives the reason, which provides reference for improving the scientific and technological innovation system. (2) By adopting the growth equation and the introduction of capital and labor elasticity coefficient, this dissertation will make an evaluation of the contribution to the economic development by scientific and technological innovation.
