The Study Of China's Personal Financial Management Industry Based On The Scp Paradigm

After years of rapid development, China's personal financial management industry's business types and related regulation systems has been increasingly improved. But the industry has created many problems, such as lack of professional ethical, concealing risks and lack of credibility of some financial planners. The effect of help clients develops correct financial management habits and choosing the right investing channels seems to be not significant. In addition, the Chinese excess savings and American excess consumption have also been included as major factors leading to global financial crisis. Therefore, it's an important issue to study of China's personal financial management industry, through which we can find the causes of the problem, clear personal financial management industry's development trend and direction, and promote related groups in China's personal financial management industry to make corresponding improvements.In accordance with the theory of SCP paradigm, we can research an industry from three aspects including industry structure, industry conduct and industry performance, and these three aspects are Reactive with each other. This paper uses improved SCP paradigm to make a systematic study of China's personal financial management industry. This paper brings non-monetary performance into the industry performance evaluation system, and through design questions, questionnaire survey, scoring statistics, expression with chart and model building to achieve non-monetary performance quantified. And preliminary choose"XY value"as the comprehensive performance evaluation standard of "monetary performance" and "non-monetary performance". Then this paper has a conclusion that China's personal financial management industry had good performance in 2007 in the aspects of monetary performance, but in non-monetary aspects of performance, there are big gaps between the inter-firms. In the industry conduct analysis, through questionnaires, interviews, internships and participation in transactions, the author has deep understanding with the real problems of China's personal financial management industry's conduct, particularly non-price competition. In the industry structure analysis, this article analyzes from Enterprises and employees two dimensions, because personal financial incentives for employees lead to competition relations between the employees, and in the last the two levels of industry structure analysis conclusions are indeed completely different.Finally, this paper dynamically analyses the development trend of China's financial management industry with a creation of"the evolution path model of industry". And proposed a new business pattern of financial management industry: membership third-party financial management institution which is in line with the trend and promising.
