Social Capital Of Yunnan Province Of Rural Surplus Labor Transfer

Since 1990s,our rural labor force transferred scale constantly expanding.A large amount of peasants flow to the cities transferred to rural and urban social economic development has brought profound influence.For the less developed provinces like Yunnan,the transfer of rural spare labor force has a particularly important role in the poverty alleviation in rural poor areas and modernization.At present,the social capital is playing the influential role in the yunnan rural spare labor force mobility.From the perspective of social capital to search the transfer of rural labor force ,the paper breaks the existing research paradigm which takes economic person as logical starting ,and can more accurately reveal the inherent mechanism about the transfer of rural labor force.This paper utilizes the correlation theory of economic and the sociological, and elaborates the concept and the characteristics of the social capital of rural areas.And based on the research achievement domestic and foreign,the paper defines the social capital as a personal network of relationships which exict in some specific social organizations.Then research of the social capital mechanism and explore of its role in the rural labor force transfer from this perspective.Trying to find out the main social capital accumulation restricted factors with the actual in yunnan province.On the empirical part,the thesis select Dengga country Ruili city in Dehong region as the study object,useing the method of on-the-spot investigation and Issuing questionnaires to test and verify the theory that the social capital influence the transfer of the rural labor,and find out the factors in social capital that against the transfer of the rural labor in yunnan.The research shows that the amount of social capital owned by the rural spare labor force largely decides their transfer.In the process of the transfer of the rural labor force in Yunnan,they are more likely to depengdent on the informal social networks such as the reletives and the geographic relations.And this informal networks have a very important role in cost reduction,including the information cost,the economic cost and the psychological cost. But this informal networks have an adverse impact in the process of urban integration.On the contrary,the social organization which is lack in Yunnan rural playing a more positive role in urban integration.To promote the rural spare labor force transfer,the lobor need to invest their original social capital and expand new social capital,and in the meantime,the government departments ought to strengthen public investment and provide system support for the transfer of the rural labor force.
