China's city commercial banks, the predecessor of the urban credit cooperatives in 1995, the State Council approved the formation of urban credit cooperatives on the basis of city commercial banks, City commercial banks in China opened with the prelude to the development of reform. Under the guidance of the regulatory policy, strong support from the local government and their efforts, City commercial banks and other aspects of ourselves together, urban commercial banks are marking giant strides on its way to success. China's financial industry from the "time bomb" to become the most dynamic banking system, one of the groups, China's city commercial banks will certainly leave a fresh record in the financial development.In April 2003, after the establishment of the CBRC, Urban commercial banks have in the regulation entered a new era. In 2004, the China Banking Regulatory Commission announced the statement "strengthen the supervision of city commercial banks to promote the reform and development". City commercial banks owe these initial results to a public effort, which is very important regulatory role. From the perspective of regulatory policy, mainly in Risk, pushing the three aspects of reform and promote development.In the development process, the city commercial banks are also faced with increased regulatory requirements, competition is more intense, the small asset size, product and business innovation single and poor. Through a clear market positioning, establishing strategic planning, adhere to the so special to do good, focus on the combination of foreign capital and talent from overseas and changing ways of business innovation and effective measures, the future of urban commercial banks will be even better.This paper sums up China's city commercial banks in the past fifteen years of reform and development process and the presence of the current status and specific analysis, and combine theory with cases, quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, hoping that it has some guidance and practical significance to us, especially bankers of the China's city commercial banks.
