Bidding Decision Based On Rough Set Theory, General Contracting Projects

More and more Design-build projects have appeared in the field of construction in our country, It certainly will be the leading building project procurement model, which means that more bid activities of construction enterprises will be geared to the needs of Design-build projects. Therefore, from the point of view of the general contractors, it is a topic worthy to be discussed how to grasp the characteristics of Design-build projects, and make bidding decision-making scientifically.Based on the study of related theories and models, the paper studies the bidding decision-making for Design-build projects by incorporating the characteristics of general contracting project, and of its bidding decision, using system-scientific methods, comparative analysis method and modeling method of mathematics,and attempts to apply rough sets theory and method for constructing model.Within this paper, the progresses made on the study of bidding decision-making for Design-build project mainly contain:(1)It defines the content and process of the bidding decision-making of Design-build project, and divided the process of bidding decision into two stages:earlier bidding decision-making stage and latter stage,it also defines the main tasks and work contents of these two stages.(2)It compares the project procurement mode with traditional mode,summarized the characteristics of bidding decision for Design-build project.On this basis,16 factors in 4 categories,having an influence on the earlier bidding decision-making, and 11 factors in 5 categories,having an influence on the latter bidding decision-making, are analyzed and relevant influencing factor sets established.(3)It discusses the advantages of applying rough set theory to bidding decision for general contracting project, and builts the bidding decision model for Design-build project, from the perspective of the entire process of bidding decision,by using attribute reduction algorithm of rough set,decision rule discovery and the nature of attribute dependencies.(4) by using the model established in this paper, It builts the index system for earlier decision and latter decision of X corporation on the basis of the actual situation and historical data of X corporation, and a decision analysis is done for the bidding of GX bridge Design-build project,and the operability of model is verified.
