With the rapid development of the domestic automobile market, the competitions among automobile enterprises become increasingly fierce, and many full competitive automotive products continued to emerge. Under the double pressure of market and competitors, automobile enterprises have to put enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises in the first place of company's strategy, the enterprises not only implement management improvement and business restructuring internally to improve competitiveness of enterprises, but also integrate external resources, such as dealers and suppliers, into the vehicle management scope. For the specialty of automotive industry, improvement of suppliers can greatly enhance product quality, reduce material costs, improve the response speed of vehicle business-to-market, and speed up product development. Supplier's capacity building has become an important means of market competition in a vehicle plant. In a sense, the competition of automobile enterprises have extended to the competition among the supplier system.Effective management of supplier system is a very complex process, on one hand, the suppliers of automobile enterprises are relatively large, differences between suppliers are obvious, and the components are of many types; on the other hand, it's a trading relationship between the automobile enterprises and suppliers, so it's not easy for the two sides to reach agreement on many issues, and their mutual relationship is a long-term game relationship. It's a necessary research for automobile enterprises in long term that how to play a central enterprise role in the supply chains and how to integrate suppliers' resource capacity to continuously optimize supplier system.This paper, based on the research status of supplier management in automobile enterprises, first introduces the international mature model and theory of supply chain management, and combines the development trend of supplier system construction home and abroad to put forward the evaluation criteria of supplier system construction. Then on this basis, the paper analyzes supplier management system of a certain automobile enterprise, it deeply analyzes the company's present situation on supplier development strategy, purchasing process, performance evaluation system, etc. On theoretical basis in previous paper, this paper totally improves in the aspects of supplier selection process, performance evaluation system, supplier echelon construction and incentives, and information communication, finally forms a new supplier system management scheme for the company.The management system is divided into seven parts, each part of which is combined organically:1. the supplier system strategies; 2. the purchasing process; 3. supplier performance evaluation system; 4. differentiated supplier development strategies; 5. supplier echelon scheme and incentives; 6, the risk control of new access suppliers; 7. platform of supplier information communication.The study of this paper will further improve the company's supplier management mode, established more competitive supplier team, and establish long-term strategic partnership with suppliers, which plays a good supporting role in the enterprises' supply chain management. It also lays a solid foundation for the enterprises' sustainable development, which is beneficial to the enterprises' common development with suppliers and its sustained leading position in market competition..
