At present, China is in the renaissance period of social developments, economic prosperity and technological progress. Measurement as one of the foundations of economic constructions, social developments, scientific and technological progress. It has become an important approach and tool for standardizing the market economic order and protecting the interests of the masses.This paper introduces the basis, background and current situation of quality evaluation in metrology and measurement works; it describes the importance of metrological work and the need for carrying out quality management; it conducts systematic analysis on related factors which have influences on work quality of metrology and measurement from the perspective of process quality and outcome quality. Base on the research on theory, combine with the actual works in Xuzhou Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology, it takes big amounts of statistical data which are provided by integrated management system of metrological business as the evaluation base and data sources; it makes use of AHP to determine weighting and sorting the quality of various measuring and testing indexes; so that quality evaluation of measurement work will be more accurate, fair and reasonable. And it takes evaluation results of work quality as basis, makes comprehensive analysis, evaluation and control on quantitative parameters of working quality, finds out the problems which urgently need to be addressed, makes targeted improvements and then improve the quality of metrology and measurement work more effectively, more quickly. And they have certain reference value to enhance and improve the quality measurement in metrological technology bureau.
