Local Residents Tourism Festival Of Sports Participation In Research

Festival tourism has developed more and more well along the development of tourism, but in this process many problems have appeared, such as taking the growing of economic as festival's motive, choosing the same event topic, too much intervene from different areas governments and putting too much energy for the surface of the festivals not the connotation.In recent years, event tourism has been the focus of the study about tourism along with the holding of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, and Xi'an Expo2011.This thesis not only takes the tourist festival of the sports as the research object and also takes local residents as the surveying object in order to research the index of the participation quantitive method, in the last uses the Xi'an marathon to do some demonstration.In the first chapter of the paper, the author gives some reasons for choosing the topic and the significances about theory and practice, in the end of this chapter the writer also brings forward the tools which used in this study and some difficulties and some importance of this paper. In order to know the literatures that are already published in the field of festival tourism, the author tries her best to search the papers which have been in print and tidies them up according to several kinds, in the last the writer dose some comments on these published papers. In this study the author gives a system of the index of the participation firstly and in the second step the writer inquiries some experts who are the professors in domestic universities in order to determine the suitable guidelines of the assessment. After all those steps the author collects their'opinions taking local residents as the research object and analyzes those data though the tool which is called AHP, in the last we got the system of evaluating the participation of local residents for the tourist festival of the sports.In this assessing system, the holders of these festivals have taken the heaviest percentage what is 0.3438, and the next is the factors that tourists could perceive what is 0.3731.In empirical the author takes Xi'an International Marathon which has been holed for many years as an example, in the first analyzes its current situation taking the citizens as surveyor, then uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to get this evaluation system. Though this system the thesis achieves Xi'an International Marathon's index of the participation is 56.5370, which means its participation level is normal. In the last part, the author investigates the importance of every index, and taks the survey results of current situation of Xi'an Marethon to analyze the difference of every index. In the end, this paper finds the problems which have exsited in the fentival and gives some suggestion to improve it. In the last part of this thesis, it suggests the holders of all these festivals to prompt the following items at once, such as the providing of services including storage, water and information, keeping venue of festival secure and orderly, the service of healthy, keeping the appraisal of the results fair and the atmosphere of festivals. Except those items, organizers should do some planning for the next factors in order to be benefit for prompting tourism events. Those items are the famous of festival, the participation of sport stars, the market for festivals, the level of participation of foreigners and holding time of events.
