In recent years,the development of domestic E-sports is rapid,but compared with the United States,South Korea and other country whose e-sports industry is relatively perfect,China's E-sports is still in its infancy.In 2018,E-sports was selected as a performance item in the Asian Games in Jakarta,and China's representative team also achieved excellent results of two gold medals and one silver medal.In 2022,E-sports will be included in the Hangzhou Asian Games as a formal competition.Although as early as 2003,the State General Administration of sports listed E-sports as the 99 th formal sports event,for a long time,the voice of doubt about E-sports in our society has never stopped.People's prejudice and incomprehension about E-sports has become a restriction on the development of Esports Residents' support for E-sports plays an important role in the development of E-sports.This article takes 1017 Hangzhou residents as the survey object,and uses literature data method,questionnaire survey method,logical analysis method,etc.to carry out research on Hangzhou residents' support for e-sports and influencing factors based on social exchange theory.First,the independent sample T test and one-way analysis of variance were used to study and analyze the characteristics of Hangzhou residents' support for the e-sports industry and the influencing factors.The structural equation model was further used to analyze the Hangzhou residents' support for esports and its The relationship between the influencing factors has reached the following conclusions:1.Demographic characteristics such as age,personal monthly income,occupation,and education level have a significant impact on residents' support for the e-sports industry.Residents of different genders have no significant impact on the support for the e-sports industry.2.Residents of different genders do not have significant differences in perceived benefits,but there are significant differences in participation,understanding,and perceived costs;residents of different ages have no significant differences in perceived costs and perceived benefits.There are significant differences in participation and support;residents with different personal monthly incomes have participation,understanding,and perceived benefits.There are no significant differences in perceived costs;residents of different education levels have significant differences in perceived benefits,perceived costs,understanding,and participation;residents of different occupations have no significant differences in perceived benefits,but in participation Significant differences have emerged in terms of degree,understanding,and perceived cost.3.Residents' perceived benefits have a significant positive impact on residents' support for the e-sports industry,while residents' perceived costs have a significant negative impact on support;participation has a significant impact on residents' perceived benefits,Residents' perceived cost has no significant impact,and participation has a significant impact on residents' support for the e-sports industry;understanding has no significant impact on residents' perceived benefits and perceived costs,and understanding has a significant impact on residents' support for the e-sports industry Degree also has no significant effect.
