Practical Process Of Product Development Project Management Research

6-Sigma is a new advanced theory and tools in recent years, mainly used for quality management. It controls the quality by process and quantitive tools, and these process and tools may be introduced into research and development project management for new product, managing the technology and quality of the R&D project.The research object of this dissertation is project management process. Based on the project management knowledge,6-Sigma theory, NPI process and actual working experience of project management, the author is intended to produce a new applicable project management process for research and development for new product.The dissertation discussed each stage of R&D project management. And it focuses on project initiating stage, planning stage and concept design stage because there are big risks at these 3 stages for R&D project, accounting for more than 80% of the risk of overall project. Then work out the new applicable process of R&D project management.
