With the Development of Market Economy and Mass Media, the Chinese Traditional Festival, QiXi is in decline, though it is very popular among all the classes. The Romantic Legend,"Niulang Zhinv"is getting more important contents in celebration, instead of"Qi Qiao". Meanwhile, QiXi is challenged by The Valentines Day. So what and how we should do with Traditional Festivals is the biggest question we have to confront with.This paper will focus on the importance and affects of gender during Festival Celebration and the issue of QiXi Transition. Further, the author calls for that more people can join in the team to push QiXi Development and Transition.
