ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) has been introduced to China from western countries over 30 years of history. The more and more Chinese companies begun to implement the ERP system to improve the enterprise managements and reduce the operating costs since 1980s. It is known problem that how to implement the ERP and what benefits can be get from ERP application in China, especially how to assess the ROI of ERP before the implementation. The works that researching the evaluation of ERP implementation benefits can provide the some guidance and reference for Chinese enterprise when they plan to design and implement the ERP system in the futureThis thesis included 4 Chapters. Firstly, the study briefed the history and recently status in China in the past 30 years. Secondly, the study explained the evaluations methodology of ERP implementation that is using in China. The chapters 3 used a case to show:"the Analysis Approach of Industry Benchmark", to evaluations of implementation efficiency for enterprise ERP system. Finally, the paper summarized the application scope of analysis approach in Chinese companies and outlook the prospects in the future.
