Xi'an Historical Evolution Of The Textile Industry Cluster Development

Textile industry is traditional industry of China, pillar industry and livelihood industry, and occupies an important position in the development of national economy. In recent years some domestic scholars'research of textile industry mainly concentrated in eastern coastal areas, rarely in northwest, especially Xi'an which textile industry is in decline. The government of Xi'an carried out a plan to accelerate industry development, among which light textile industry was identified as one of the eight key industry, thus brings a good opportunity for Xi'an textile industry development.With the theme of textile industry's historical evolution and cluster development research of Xi'an, based on industrial cluster theory, using qualitative and quantitative, location quotient, C-D production function, the multivariate linear regression model of such method, through studying the historical evolution process of textile industry, combined with textile industry's developing situation of Xi'an, the paper analyzed its existing problems and the influence factors of industrial decline, and so carried out the plan to accelerate textile industry's development and emphasized the establishment of modern textile industrial park.(1) Under the background of the textile industry's developing condition of Xi'an, according to the life cycle theory of industrial cluster the paper analyzed comprehensively the textile's historical evolution of the Xi'an for the first time and classified it as birth period, growth period, mature period and decline period;(2) There is some existing problems in Xi'an textile industry, including poorly equipped, single product, industry-strand breaks, irrational industrial structure, research and development capacity is weak, weak brand awareness, corporate lack of information and shortage of funds;(3) Using Location Quotient Analysis, C-D production function, the multivariate linear regression model of such method, Xi'an is a combined effect of declining textile industry, gathering the majority of indicators and indicators of production factors and regional output levels were negatively correlated.Finally, Through research of the textile industry and learn from Japan, Germany, Italy, India textile industry cluster development and the revitalization of the path method, Xi'an textile industry reached enlightenment:promote the textile industry cluster development, spatial restructuring of existing industries, technological innovation, extend the industrial chain, build brand, enhance the government assistance. The paper focused on integrating with textiles of Xi'an and Xian yang, optimizing textile industry sector structure, creating large modern textile industrial park in jingwei New of Xi'an and then developing it into the northwest region's largest modern industrial base; proposed introduction of advanced equipment, create brand-name products, change mode of economic development of traditional industries, e-commerce platform in the network and other countermeasures.
