Tourist shopping has always developed along with the development of tourism industry and shopping expenditures could take 40 to 60 percent of tourism incomes in some tourism developed countries and regions in the world. Therefore, the proportion of tourist commodity expenditures in the tourism incomes is often considered as an important measurement of the development level of regional tourism industry in the international tourism community. It makes great senses for tourism development in our country to improve the development level of tourism purchase and to promote the harmonious development of six factors of tourism industry. Study on the tourist shopping and tourist commodities will be an important part of tourism industry in the future. This paper made the Ancient City of Pingyao as its object of study, because the development of tourist commodities is in the period of higher development and as a representative of world cultural heritage in inland area, Pingyao has its own characteristic as well as common sense.At first, this paper defined the tourist commodity and depicted the classification and functions of tourist commodity after literature review on current research about tourism commodity. Then this paper picked out the main problem of Pingyao's tourist commodity development by field investigation about development of tourism industry and tourist commodity of Pingyao. The main problems are as follows: lack of consciousness of tourist commodity development, bad tourist shopping atmosphere, low connection of scenic spots, few big brands and so on. At last, combined with theory of community dynamics,theory of game and theory of tourist anthropology, this paper proposed some suggestions for its further development,such as what is the priority of developing tourist commodity and how to handle it,hoping to provide experiences for the development of tourist commodities, especially taking some proactive measures to promote the formation of new top community of tourist commodities by shaping values of community succession. |
