Along with our country attract more foreign direct investment ability constantly strengthen, as the center of the northeast old industrial base, Liaoning province is also more and more attentioned by foreign. Combining with the actual situation of Liaoning province, estimating the Liaoning province green GDP with existing data, studying FDI contribution to green economic growth. It is more accurate and more reasonable to measure economic growth than by traditional GDP.This paper makes qualitative and quantitative analysis between FDI and Liaoning economic growth situation, using a unit root test, granger causality test, cointegration test methods, and making empirical analysis by Eviews3.1. It studies the contribution from FDI to green economic growth of Liaoning province and puts forward suggestion which how to make better use of FDI promotion to Liaoning province economic growth.This paper expounds the necessity of the research of FDI contribution to green economic growth in Liaoning province. It introduces concepts related the FDI and economic growth theory, and research status and the FDI contribution to economic growth theory. It studies FDI contribution to green economic growth in three perspectives, including the empirical analysis of the relationship between FDI and Liaoning green GDP growth, the analysis of green economic growth in Liaoning province and analysis the effect of green economic growth in three industries.Through empirical analysis, this paper concludes that the Liaoning FDI and green economic growth has granger causality. Finally, aiming the problems existing in the process of using of foreign capital, the paper makes policy recommendations which how to make full use of FDI to promote Liaoning green economic growth through empirical analysis.
