Forestry Logistics Research is the weak link of the current research in the field of logistics. So strengthen the forestry logistics research is great significant.The theory and modeling method of System Dynamics is the basis of this paper, inventory control system of forest supply chain is the object of research in this paper. Using the basic principles and methods of System Dynamics to research the inventory control system of forest supply chain simulation is a new attempt.Inventory management system of forest supply chain consists of inventory system of forest growth place, timber processing enterprises inventory management system and inventory management system of sales network nodes,etc. The subsystems interact and effect mutually, thereby have an impact on the system of forest supply chain. The factors that have effect on inventory control system of forest supply chain and its subsystems are more and its relationships are very complex. Using traditional methods and means can not reflect its complex relationship, the paper try to through establish system dynamics simulation model and use the flow chart in the model to reflect its complex relationships so as to reflect the objective reality, and optimize inventory control strategies through the simulation situation of model.The constructed inventory control models of the forest supply chain in this paper including three parts:system dynamics model of dynamic inventory of tree growth place, system dynamics model of dynamic inventory in lumber enterprises and system dynamics model of marketing network nodes of product in inventory control. This paper introduce CPFR, VMI, JMI, and other modern inventory management model into inventory management of wood supply chain in the process of model. Models consider of the subjective and objective factors that impact on the inventory control system of organizations actors in supply chain. All these factors are taken into account in the flow chart, and marked their causal relationships by the flow line that belongs to system dynamics simulation language, quantify these causal relationships through statistical methods, so as to establish a series of system dynamics equations, and adjust inventory control strategy through simulate model of inventory control strategy, and do preliminary studies on the implementation of modern inventory control method in logistics in forestry. Doing effective test and simulation analysis by model, and further clarify the relationship between the effectiveness factors.The understanding of logistics in Forestry is a process of continuous in-depth understanding, forestry logistics system itself is a process of continuous self-improvement, so forestry logistics, especially for rural forestry logistics needs to be further in-depth study.
